Equipment We Want to Borrow

• Use of Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat)
• Use of Excavator or mini-excavator.

Materials we Want Donated

• Donation of Leftover / returned concrete
• Donation of Loads of clean dirt or gravel
• Donation of Corrugated R-Panel roofing panels (in good shape)
• Donation of Orange plastic temporary construction fencing.
• Donation of Rebar (for the construction of the foundation of the shade structure). The plans call for #4 (1/2”) rebar, plus some #3 (3/8”).

Labor Tasks You Can Sign Up For

These tasks aren’t just for Daisy Dog Park.

• Use our Wire cutters to cut down a section of barbed wire from our fence. (So we look less like a prison yard!) and throw the barbed wire in the dumpster.
• Scrape and edge the perimeter of the concrete pad.
• Buff (paint white) the front and sides of the building. Especially after being tagged. We provide the paint and rollers.
• Blow Out/Pressure Washing of Warehouse Floor
• Fence Post Setting (for new front fence, double-gated entry, and small dog area). We stake it out. You use our fence post digger to dig a hole, set the post, and pour concrete around it.
• Concrete saw cutting. (Use our concrete saw to cut two parallel lines 36” apart through the parking lot from the building at 1435 Japonica St. to the fence.)
• Jackhammering. (Use our jackhammer to bust the concrete between the two parallel lines.)
• Help Construct the shade structure. The shade structure has been designed and permitted. We have the lumber. We don’t yet have the rebar, fittings or heavy equipment and labor needed to dig the foundation, pour the concrete, and construct the structure.

• IT help. Setting up our unifi security cameras.

Tasks (You don’t need our permission or to sign up. Just do it : )

• Empty the Dog Poop trash can. (Throw the bag in the can in front of 1333 Japonica.)
• Throw big rocks to the edge of the park so the lawnmower doesn’t run over them.
• Weed-eating. Always weed eating.
